Hayduke X A quietly contemplative into a gentle, structureless void. Favorite track: No Visibility III.

Stefan Schneider Deeply meditative, No Visibility doesn't just create atmosphere for you to disappear into, instead the atmosphere is juxtaposed with deeply hypnotic synth lines and found sounds that turn contemplation into a journey Favorite track: No Visibility IV.

J&S An intriguing, contemplative, and occasionally slightly menacing EP, with distinct atmospheres acoss each of the four movements. The gradual transitions and motions within each track are well constructed and develop elegantly, and while the comparison to aspects of NIN is well merited (particularly with the darker tones of tracks III and IV), II was definitely evocative of the slightly more dreamlike styles of Boards of Canada, which I really loved. A diverse and engaging ambient release. Favorite track: No Visibility II.

"Reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails' Ghosts albums, Wendy Carlos, synth-laden spacey Pink Floyd, and the solo work of Mike Armine (Rosetta), Chalk Portraits mines a musical inner space for the listener to contemplate." – Ghost Cult Magazine
